This first full moon of the lunar year, folks should consider heading to the Wildwood’s Lanterns Festival in Arkansas. Held at Wildwood Park for the Arts in Little Rock, this festival is held from late afternoon until approximately 10 p.m. from February 22 through the 24th. The 55th Annual Delta Exhibition is coming to Little Rock, AK. The exhibition runs from January 18th – March 10th and is a wonderful art show. Over 900 entries are received for this exhibition, and only the cream of the crop make it, so you can expect some amazing pieces.

Held in the Arkansas Art Center, this show represents the wide variety of art and expression in the Mississippi delta. Since 1958, the Annual Delta Exhibition has showcased some of the best work in the area. This year will prove no exception.

Members of the Center can enjoy a reception on January 17th, as an opening to the show. The show will display all ranges of media, both two dimensional and three dimensional. Sculptures and paintings alike are judged by a guest juror to the Arkansas Art Center, who will award prizes to the best work.

Submissions for the showcase come from Oklahoma to Texas, and represent a wide variety of perspectives. This Exhibition is free, so bring family or friends down for a unique aesthetic experience in downtown Little Rock.

The Arkansas Repertory Theatre, located in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas, is a world-class entertainment venue known for its high-quality productions. This holiday season, the theatre, also known as ‘The Rep’, has a special treat in store as it presents Irving Berlin’s White Christmas.

Based on the classic movie of the same name, the Arkansas Repertory Theatre’s production brings to life this heartwarming tale of holiday romance and music for a five week run between November and December. The staging includes several musical numbers, including favorites like “Blue Skies” and “It’s Cold Outside”, as well as the all-time classic holiday song “White Christmas.”
